 Relax Melodies: Sleep Sounds

Do you have trouble getting to sleep? Staying asleep? Or just unwinding after a long, stressful day? This is one of the most used apps on my phone, other than my kindle. It offers a wide variety of white noise, nature sounds, and isochronic tones to help soothe your spirit. Isochronic tones essentially emit sounds at regular intervals to influence your brainwave frequencies to induce sleep or relaxation. I know it sounds ridiculous, but try it. It is similar to binaural beats, but does not require the use of earbuds.

If you have never heard of Sheila Walsh, please check her out today. She speaks from godly experience on healthy ways to cope with anxiety. She has several books; I especially like her  5-Minutes With Jesus devotional series.  She does the Wednesday segment on Life Today, focusing on mental health.
